How to Apply Luxture Stone Finish: Step-by-Step Guide for Long-Lasting Walls

🔹 Step 1: Surface Preparation

Proper preparation is the foundation of any successful application.

• Ensure that the surface is completely dry and mature.
• New plaster should be cured for at least 30 days to allow carbonization.
• Remove loose paint, dirt, dust, or grease.
• For patch repairs, use Luxture Cemplast and then apply Luxture Decorseal primer.
• Allow the primer to dry for 12 hours before applying the finish.

👉 Pro Tip: Never apply on damp walls or if water seepage is present.

🔹 Step 2: Mixing the Packs

Luxture Stone Finish is supplied in 3 packs:

• Pack A: Dry mix of natural/pigmented stones (1–2.5 mm), quartz, and PU chips.
• Pack B: Acrylic bonding medium with fungicides.
• Pack C: Protective clear top coat (TC-500 water-based / TC-1000 solvent-based).

For application:

1. Mix Pack A with Pack B.
2. Add a small quantity of clean drinkable water.
3. Stir until you get a consistent wet mix.

🔹 Step 3: Application with Spray Gun

• Use a spray gun for uniform coverage.
• Apply the wet mix at an average 1.5–2 mm thickness.
• Cover approximately 100–110 sq. ft. per bag depending on thickness.
• Allow the sprayed surface to dry for 24 hours.

🔹 Step 4: Drying & Curing

Drying times vary depending on temperature, ventilation, and humidity. As a rule of thumb:

• Keep the surface undisturbed for 24 hours.
• Avoid rain exposure for at least 48 hours after application.

🔹 Step 5: Top Coat Protection

For enhanced durability and weather resistance:

• Apply Pack C (Top Coat) after the surface is dry.
• Choose between:
  • TC-500 (Water-based) for eco-friendly protection.
  • TC-1000 (Solvent-based) for stronger chemical and weather resistance.
• Apply with a brush or spray for even coverage.
